ALREADY SUBMITTED?

Smiling with a Headset

If you have submitted your application, one of two things will initially happen. Your application will be accepted (congratulations!) or you will receive a request for further information.

If you receive a request for further information, this is because the assessors do not have sufficient evidence to make a decision on your application. If you have received this request it is important that you carefully consider what information has been requested and how you can address the queries raised by the assessor.

In some cases you may supply the additional information and then still be asked again for more if the assessors do not feel they have sufficient evidence to make a decision. This process can take many weeks or even months.

At this point if the assessors still feel that they are unable to make a decision, they may ask you to attend a meeting called a Test of Competence (ToC). In this meeting, they will ask you a series of questions to determine if you meet the requirements of the HCPC register.

If you have been asked to supply further information or attend a Test of Competence (ToC), it is essential that you understand exactly what they are asking of you and how best to address the questions being asked.

We are here to support you through these steps, so please get in touch by email us at hello@registrationmentors.com
